The story behindThe Perimetre vases feature the “Abaca H” design by Gianpaolo Pagni. With their projecting ridges, these porcelain pieces recall a sheet of leather that has been folded and pinched. The taut lines and hand-spun cut edges recall the polishing of the leather and provide the collection with a distinguishing mark. This design draws its inspiration from abaca, a plant fiber obtained from the banana tree native to the Philippines, and evokes the plant's characteristic weave. The “Abaca H” design is available in 2 colors: sauge and bronze, with a hand-painted border on the edge of the vase.
