That’s because both are holding lanterns with internal batteries that are charged by sunlight during the day and switch their LED lights on automatically at dusk. And because there’s no wiring involved you can place either Nellie or Jumbo wherever you want: beside a path, in a flowerbed, along a patio or on a balcony.
